Born and raised in New York City, Anastasia grew up admiring the varied types of beauty New Yorkers present to the world everyday. Makeup was her first passion and little could keep her from exploring it. When her parents told her she was too young for makeup she would apply it in a dark staircase before school each morning. Her face and neck rarely matched but she loved the freedom and self expression applying makeup allowed her.
In high school and college Anastasia discovered her biggest passion-- relating to and helping others. She graduated Stony Brook University with a BA in Sociology. Throughout most of Anastasia's 20s she struggled with her self esteem to feel comfortable in her own skin but through her reignited love for makeup she found her confidence. She has married her two passions in her career as a Makeup Artist, aspiring to help others feel good and embrace their own individual beauty.
